Spacious, Relaxing Key Largo Townhouse, In An Oceanfront Resort.
This is a 3 story, 4 balcony, 3 bedroom + den, 3 bathroom, condo / townhouse. It is located in a 24 acre resort / condo complex in Key Largo. It is surrounded on 3 sides by the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. We are 1 mile from the major highway, so it is very quiet here. There are 3 pools, 3 beaches, a 4.5 acre tropical lagoon with fish you can swim with and hand feed. We have a Jetty that extends 1,000 feet into the Atlantic Ocean that you may fish from or see a beautiful sunsets. There are 2 tennis courts, a large playground many chickee huts, nature trails, bike paths, etc... You may borrow my bikes, golf cart, fishing and tennis equipment, Kayaks, Paddle Boards, snorkeling gear, etc... at no charge. There is a marina on site here and I provide free parking next to your condo.

We had a very nice time at Norman's property. He was always accessible when we had a question or issue. He also is very informative with information on the area and any need you might have. The property is older but clean and has a lot to offer. Having easy access to paddleboards and kayaks was so nice... as was having the golf cart. Everything was very user friendly and the kids had a great time swimming. The property had everything we needed and more.

The location was great, the use of all the water equipment and golf cart was great. The townhouse was a little dated, no ventilation in two of the bathrooms. But, there was plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 children and pet friendly was a big plus. Any issues we had were immediately addressed. Would defenitly come again!
My family has been visiting the Florida Keys for 10 years, and we must say this trip was one of the best ever. Our host, Norman Wartman, was friendly, helpful and really went out of his way to make us comfortable. The house was exactly what we were looking for and it included all the fun things to do on property....bikes, pools, fishing jetty, grills, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear and golf cart. Norman checked-in with us regularly to see if we needed anything and saw to it that our family had a memorable time. We are looking forward to going back in August!
Norman we had a blast while in The keys and your condo was everthing you described PLUS more. We all loved the quiet and secluded feeling and all of the amenities.

Let's start with the cons:
Stair carpets were very dirty and need to be replaced.
Soft furnishings including chairs, sofa, and bedding looking very sad
Inadequate number of glasses in kitchen
Broken seat in lanai
Wheels were missing from dishwasher rack (found them in a drawer and put them back on).
Missing shelf and broken part in refrigerator.
No locks on entry doors.
Pros:
Great location in Key Largo, and unit was in great location at the yacht club, facing south and right across from one of the swimming pools.
Lots of good restaurants to choose from close by.
Grounds and pools at the yacht club very well maintained.
Everyone staying at the yacht club was very friendly. We could be as sociable as we wanted, with daily activities available.
We, our children, our grandchildren, and our dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Norman, the manager, was very helpful and friendly, and extremely prompt in handling a couple of issues that we raised to him.
We look forward to returning in 2020.
Really enjoyed staying here! All the extras available made it awesome. The home had plenty of room for my family. We used the kayaks, paddleboards, fishing equipment, bicycles, and golf cart every day. The property was peaceful and well-maintained. The people we met were so friendly. Norman was both friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend it!
This is the place to chill and fish. Everything we wanted was on the property. The townhouse was clean and large and I was able to bring my dogs. We'll definitely be back.
We recently spent 5 nights at the Kawama Yacht Club and could not had been happier with our time there. I have been staying in the keys using vrbo and homeaway for years and can say with certainty that this place is a hidden gem in Key Largo. The photos do not do the property justice, and the unit also had significant renovations completed recently...so we were pleasantly surprised by what ended up with. The property is huge and very quiet at night, and had plenty of gathering areas, outdoor cooking/dining and beach areas. The large saltwater lagoon was a unique part of the property, and was great to swim/snorkel and was full of fish.
Norman and Nina were great to deal with and handled any concerns that we had. Nina gave us a 5 star tour of the large property and it's amenities. Kayaks, paddle boards, a golf cart, fishing and snorkeling equipment, etc were all included and kept us occupied while not out on the boat. The pools were nice and had plenty of chairs, tables, tiki areas etc. to accommodate anyone. The long jetty that extends from the property into the Atlantic is also a neat touch and gives you a great view.
You can not beat the price! The Hilton would have been twice the price because we need 2 rooms to accommodate our family. My husband and I traveled with 6 kids, mostly teens, for a long weekend in the keys. Norm has all the stuff so you only have to bring food. We had fun in the pools, swimming in the lagoon, snorkeling at Pennekamp, fishing, night time walks out on the jetty, etc. The golf cart was very popular with the teens. We left some clothing items in a bedroom drawer and the owner was kind enough to notify us and send back. This was above and beyond.
